Survey results

All of my survey informers read magazines which is good as it means that the magazine industry still has a good amount of influence. 70% of these informants read music magazines and 50% of them buy magazines once a month, which means that music still matters to teenagers. They would also spend £2-£5 on a magazine. The two major genres of music suggested are rock and indie. This is good as it means that I can tap into a, so called “Hipster” market. These people go to about one live staged music event a year so it would be important to stress that fact and exploit it. The main social websites that they use are the normal Facebook and Twitter however we are interested in Flickr and Tumblr as they are the least known. Their values and aspirations are to be arty and party hard! These results mean that my magazine reaches a unique target market.
